Project
History:
Once the center of this bustling community, increased retail competition
led to economic and physical demise for the Warsaw Shopping Center
in the mid-1990s.
Challenge:
The Village of Warsaw took title to the property, and marketed the
center for several years, but despite its efforts the plaza was
completely vacant by 1999.
Solution:
Washington St. Partners purchased the 100% vacant property in September
of 2000. By upgrading the facade and aggressively pursuing quality
tenants, WSP secured 60% of the leasing by March 2001. Today the
Warsaw Shopping Center has new life. Activity is abundant and the
plaza has once again become the retail hub for this community.
