History:
Located within the James Street Business Corridor, 935 James Street
was formerly leased by Wausau's Insurance Claim Office but became
vacant in the early 90's.
Challenge:
As a result of downsizing and consolidation, the area experienced
substantial vacancies and desperately needed a new strategy.
Solution:
Joe Hucko and previous partners saw this opportunity and came up
with a redevelopment plan. By leveraging private capital and public
development incentives, they were able to procure the Workers' Compensation
Board as a tenant and located their regional office at 935 James
Street.
